Heritage Companies was established with the goal of helping individuals and businesses with their insurance and financial needs as well as providing employee benefit management services. Many of the independent insurance agents at Heritage Companies are also financial advisors. Founder and President Mike Sanders wanted to bring cost-effective solutions and time-saving services to his clients. Thirty years later we’re still doing just that and more! Heritage is one of Kansas City’s largest independent insurance, benefit and financial planning agencies serving both individuals and businesses.
While some things have changed along the way, our passion for helping others and serving as advocates for our clients has not. We’ve grown from our humble beginnings as a small organization of three to a fully staffed agency with over 35 associates (this includes some individuals with whom we have partnerships but are not named on our site)
